After Stephanie’s uncle dies, he leaves her his house, however,
shortly after, a mysterious man in a trench coat and hat appears. Stephanie
meets this man, Skulduggery Pleasant, and her uncle’s long kept secrets begin to
surface. There are two worlds, one of ordinary people and one of magic and
sorcery. If Stephanie is ever to find the truth about her uncle’s death, she
must help Skulduggery find an all-powerful scepter and defeat the evil sorcerer
